R6 Siege PC League with R10,000 prize pool announced
From Rainbow Six Siege coach vKixey and South African tournament organizer, the African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) comes the Rainbow Six Siege (R6 Siege) PC League, with a huge prize pool of R10,000 on the line for local operators to compete for. Here’s what you need to know.
R6 Siege PC League details
First and foremost, we are just going to get the most important bit out of the way. You can simply head on over to the R6 Siege PC League page on ACGL’s website and sign up your team. Registration is completely free. The only thing you have to do is get your team together to compete and sign up before registration closes on 22 April 2024 at 18:00.
We recommend signing up much sooner if you can, however, as you should probably practice a bit and get your tactics in order. The event begins one hour later, on 22 April 2024, at 19:00. Exact schedule and match dates will be announced once sign-ups are completed, according to ACGL. All matches are BO3 in the Round-Robin group stage.
The announcement reads: “Lock and load as we call for players to showcase their skills in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege on PC. Win your share of R10,000 cash as well as merch and in-game items!”
Prize pool distribution for finals:
- 1st place – R5,000
- 2nd place – R3,000
- 3rd place – R1,500
- 4th place – R500
