ATK opens up applications for 5th Annual Internship Programme
It is no secret that South African esports organization ATK Arena is one of the best places to be in Cape Town if you love esports or just gaming in general. For those who want to get into the industry, gaining some experience with smaller tournaments and events can be valuable. That’s where ATK Arena’s 5th Annual Internship Programme comes into play, so here’s what you need to know.
ATK Holiday Work Experience Volunteer Program details
This “Holiday Work Experience Volunteer Program” for 2024/2025 is an exciting prospect for students on break, or those who are looking to do something a bit more useful with their time, all while gaining experience in the process.
ATK Arena explains: “If you’re passionate about gaming, esports, and digital entertainment, this is your chance to gain real-world experience with industry leaders and start building your dream career. Plus, you’ll rack up invaluable work hours while working on exciting projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.”
You can apply now via the form provided. Entries close on 4 December 2024.
Duties include:
- Choose the shifts you want to work (6 hour shifts at a time).
- Arrive for your shift on time.
- Assist with keeping the arena neat and tidy.
- Resetting the gaming desks according to our standard when a customer leaves.
- Offer customers assistance with in-game problems, including sound settings, screen refresh rate, mouse DPI, navigating our ggLeap systems etc.
- Helping out with tournaments we host.
- Be visible to customers while on shift.
- Promote the ATK brand positively in your behaviour and attitude.
