Dota 2 Lima Major results and highlights
On 5 March 2023, the Lima Major 2023 playoffs came to an entertaining conclusion in Lima, Peru, at the Arena 1 venue. The best Dota 2 esports teams in the world battled for their share of the $500,000 prize pool. Here’s what went down in case you missed the Dota 2 esports action.
Lima Major 2023 results
In the first round of the playoffs, we saw Gaimin Gladiators take down Chinese powerhouse Team Aster with relative ease. Gaimin Gladiators continued on to beat Entity 2-0 and Team Liquid 2-0 to make it to the grand finals of the Lima Major 2023.

Team Liquid fought their way back in the lower bracket final against Talon Esports, beating them 2-0 for a shot at revenge against Gaimin Gladiators in the grand final.
Gaimin Gladiators, however, didn’t give Team Liquid any room to breathe. They managed to beat Team Liquid with a 3-0 scoreline to claim victory at the Lima Major 2023 and $200,000 in prize money.
Top 8 Standings & Prize Money:
- 1st place – Gaimin Gladiators wins $200,000
- 2nd place – Team Liquid wins $100,000
- 3rd place – Talon Esports wins $75,000
- 4th place – Shopify Rebellion wins $50,000
- 5th & 6th place – Evil Geniuses and Entity win $25,000 each
- 7th & 8th place – Team Spirit and Team Aster win $12,500 each
Gaimin Gladiators didn’t drop a single map in the entire Lima Major 2023 playoffs, dominating their opposition. A big congratulations go out to them.
