Six secure spots at BLAST Open Porto 2026’s Playoffs
The Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) never stops, and we can’t be happier! Just after Team Spirit hoisted the EWC 2026 trophy, BLAST Open Porto 2026 kicked off. The Group Stage already delivered some fantastic matches, and exciting storylines are starting to emerge.
For example, Team Vitality are still showing some cracks in their armor, despite a solid victory over FUT Esports. They did, however, barely survive Group B, where MOUZ came out on top, with Falcons in 2nd place. Yes, MOUZ earned a top spot in Group B, and therefore, go directly to the Semifinals.
In Group A, Team Spirit showed no mercy to claim the #1 spot, while FURIA finished 2nd. G2 Esports overcame Aurora Gaming in a thriller to earn the final spot at BLAST Open Porto 2026’s Playoffs Stage.
The six teams have now punched their tickets to Porto, Portugal, where they’ll compete in front of a crowd at the awesome Super Bock Arena venue. It’s a single-elimination bracket format, where the Grand Final is BO5, and the rest of the matches are BO3.
