Your guide to FISSURE Playground #3
Even though the dust is still slowly settling over the whirlwind ride that was the Esports World Cup and BLAST Open Porto 2026, still ongoing, there’s room for another big Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) LAN event, right? Exactly right!
FISSURE Playground #3 takes place on LAN in China, at the SND Cultural & Sports Centre in the city of Suzhou. There’s a huge $1 million (roughly R16 million) that 16 fantastic teams are fighting over, and, of course, those all-important VRS points to climb the global leaderboard.
The tournament runs from 8 to 13 September 2026, so mark those calendars! Yes, that’s just two days after BLAST Open Porto 2026 finishes up.
Action begins with a Group Stage (8 to 10 September), with a GSL-style format and two groups of eight teams each. The top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage, which runs from 11 to 13 September 2026. A single-elimination bracket format is used. All matches are BO3, except for the Grand Final, which is BO5.

As you can see, many of the top teams such as Team Spirit, Team Falcons, NAVI, Team Vitality and MOUZ are not attending, which creates an exciting atmosphere where anyone has a real chance of winning.
