PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 heats up with the Playoffs this weekend

The Swiss Stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 didn’t disappoint, with intense Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports matches leading to some brutal yet expected results. Now, this weekend, it’s time for the PGL Cluj-Napoca Playoffs, with the final eight teams competing for their share of the $1,250,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R23 million. Here’s what you need to know!

PGL Cluj-Napoca Playoffs details

This weekend (21 to 23 February 2025), the PGL Cluj-Napoca Playoffs will take place at the awesome BT Arena venue in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Eight teams remain, fighting for survival and glory. The frontrunners following the Swiss Stage is FaZe Clan and The MongolZ.

The playoff stage features a single elimination bracket, where the Grand Final is best-of-five, and all the other matches are best-of-three. You can check out the opening Playoff matches for PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 below. There are all best-of-three Quarterfinals matches. We’ve also provided the times (in SAST) so you don’t miss out on any of the action.

  • paiN Gaming vs. MOUZ – 21 February at 10:00.
  • Astralis vs. The MongolZ – 21 February at 13:00.
  • Eternal Fire vs. Team Falcons – 21 February at 16:00.
  • FaZe Clan vs. SAW – 21 February at 19:00.

The Semifinals will take place on Saturday, 22 February 2025, at 17:00 and 20:00, respectively. The third-place match will take place on Sunday, 23 February at 17:00, and the Grand Final of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 will begin on 23 February at 18:00.
