Mettlestate Cash Cups from 7 to 13 September 2026
South African tournament organizer Mettlestate isn’t slowing down in the month of September 2026, with another batch of one-day Cash Cups this week for local gamers to compete in. As is a Monday tradition here at Esports Central, let’s just jump straight into the most important details.
Cash Cups from Mettlestate this week
There are another handful of five (5) Cash Cups for local gamers to compete in this week, thanks to Mettlestate and sponsor Knorr. These tournaments take place on active days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday), and all feature cash prizes.
You can enter as many as you want for free, if you have the time to commit to competing. Find the tournament details below, including the titles, registration links, start date/time (SAST), and tournament format.
- EA FC Mobile Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Monday, 7 September 2026, at 19:30.
- Rocket League Cup – 2v2 tournament starting on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at 19:30.
- Fortnite Cup – Duos battle royale tournament starting on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, at 19:30.
- Tekken 8 Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 10 September 2026, at 19:30.
- Marvel Snap Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Saturday, 12 September 2026, at 14:00.
Please note: The information about the Cash Cups above has been sourced from the Mettlestate event page. All times in the list below are in SAST. The tournament organizer may add more events at short notice, so check their page periodically for updates.
Registration for these tournaments closes about one to two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments are free to enter, and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on participants’ Premium (VIP) status.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place: R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place: R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place: R200 (R400 with VIP)
