Your guide to Reload Elite Series Championship

Calling all Battle Royale fans! The 2026 Reload Elite Series Championship is coming in hot as one of the final tournaments of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event. Kicking off this week, there’s a whole lot of action to look forward to on the Fortnite island.

The Reload Elite Series Championship is a Duos event in the fast-paced Reload mode, running from 19 to 22 August 2026. It takes place in front of a crowd at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue (Qiddiya City Grid), where 40 teams are competing.

Teams are duking it out for their share of the $1,025,000 prize pool. That’s roughly R16.3 million at the current exchange rate. The action begins with a Group Stage (19 to 20 August), with the 40 teams devided into two groups, and 10 maps per pool.

The top seven teams per group advance directly to the finals, while the bottom three are eliminated, and the rest go into the Survival Stage. On 21 August, 20 teams will compete in the Survival Stage via 10 maps to see who scores the most points, with six advancing to the finals, and 14 getting sent packing.

On 22 August, the Reload Elite Series Championship comes to a thrilling conclusion. The 20 remaining teams compete in a Match Point Format. The first team to hit 350 points and subsequently secure a Victory Crown Victory Royale in upcoming matches is crowned the champion.
