PARIVISION claims the Dota 2 crown at EWC 2026
We had the pleasure of watching some of the best Dota 2 esports action in recent memory at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 mega-event, with teams from across the globe competing at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles venue in Paris, France.
Sparks flew right from the start, with a grueling Group Stage whittling down the competition from 24 teams to 16.
In the Survival Stage, the 2nd- to 4th-placed teams from each group competed for spots in the Playoffs Stage, where notable names such as LGD Gaming, Xtreme Gaming, Team Liquid, and Aurora Gaming were eliminated.

BetBoom Team, Vici Gaming, Team Spirit, and Rune Easters survived to join Team Falcons, PARIVISION, Nigma Galaxy, and Team Yandex in the Playoffs.
In the single-elimination Playoffs Stage, BetBoom Team made quick work of Nigma Galaxy and then Vici Gaming with 2-0 sweeps to earn a spot in the Grand Finals.
On the other side of the bracket, PARIVISION swept Rune Easters 2-0 and overcame a powerful Team Yandex squad in a 2-1 slugfest.
In the Grand Final of the Dota 2 tournament at EWC 2026, it was BetBoom Team who drew first blood. PARIVISION came back swinging under the stalwart leadership of Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin, winning the next three games in a row to close out the best-of-five series with a 3-1 scoreline.
Congratulations go out to PARIVISION for winning this huge tournament, and to offlaner Evgeniy “Noticed” Ignatenko, who was named the MVP.
