VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 viewer’s guide
Following 100 Thieves’ historic win at the EWC 2026, there’s no rest for VALORANT esports fans, and the top teams competing in each VCT region. In this article, we focus on the VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 regional event leading up to Champions 2026. Here’s what you need to know.
VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 event details
First up, it’s important to note that teams are competing for just two spots at the crowning Champions 2026 event. There’s also a $250,000 prize pool on the line. That’s roughly R4 million at the current Dollar-to-Rand exchange rate. This is a LAN event taking place at the Riot Games Arena venue in South Korea.
The event begins with a Group Stage (16 July to 9 August) featuring two single-round robin groups of six teams each. All matches are BO3, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Playoffs Stage. The 3rd to 6th-placed teams will duke it out in the Play-In Stage (13 to 24 August), with seedings based on their performance in the Group Stage. Joining the eight teams from the Group Stage in the Play-In Stage are four regional challenger teams.
The top two teams from the Play-In Stage earn spots in the Upper Bracket Round 1, while 3rd and 4th-placed teams start in the Lower Bracket Round 1 of the Playoffs Stage, and the rest are eliminated. The final eight teams will compete in the VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 Playoffs, from 27 August to 6 September. All matches are BO3, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are both BO5.

There are also four Challengers teams joining the 12 listed above. At the time of writing, we know of Sharper Esports and 555, with the final two yet to be determined.
