Paper Rex wins VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 1

On 17 May 2026, at the Thiskyhall Sala Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Stage 1 event came to a thrilling conclusion.

At the start of the tournament, the best 12 teams in the region competed for a heap of VCT Pacific points, three spots at Masters London, and one spot at the Esports World Cup 2026 event.

With the GOAT of VALORANT esports, Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, it was Paper Rex who topped Group Alpha with a 4-1 record. In Group Omega, T1 took no prisoners, topping the group with a clean 5-0 record as we headed into the Playoffs.

In the double-elimination Playoffs Stage, we saw Paper Rex drop down to the lower bracket after a 1-2 loss against Global Esports. With their backs against the wall, Paper Rex proved yet again why they are considered one of the best teams in the world.

Paper Rex went on a rampage, first beating DRX with a 2-1 score, then T1 with another 2-1, and took revenge on Global Esports with a 3-0 sweep to reach the Grand Final. In the VCT 2026 Pacific’s Grand Final, Paper Rex smashed FULL SENSE with a clean 3-0 to become the champions.

Paper Rex earns a spot at the Esports World Cup and will compete at Masters London. FULL SENSE and Global Esports earned the other two VCT Pacific spots at the upcoming Masters London event. Congratulations!
