ACGL SZN 4 CS2 event features R10,000 prize pool
At the start of the year, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) was a new title for the African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) Seasons. With a highly successful Season 3 behind us, CS2 returns with ACGL SZN 4, boasting a huge R10,000 prize pool. Here’s what you need to know.
CS2 at ACGL SZN 4 details
First off, this is an online CS2 esports event, featuring the latest Active Duty Map Pool. Grab your team of five, and register today via the tournament’s official page over at ACGL. Registration is completely free of charge, but there’s a huge R10,000 prize pool to compete for. Registrations close on 4 May 2026 at 18:55 SAST, so don’t be late!
The Group Stage runs from 4 to 31 May 2026, and features a Round Robin format, where all matches are BO3. The top 16 teams will advance to the Playoffs Stage, which runs from 1 June to 5 July 2026. In the double-elimination Playoffs Stage, all matches are BO3, except for the Grand Final, which is BO5.

- Round 1: 10 May
- Round 2: 17 May
- Round 3: 24 May
- Round 4+: 31 May
Playoffs Stage schedule
The following matches must be played by the allocated match deadline. These matches may not be rescheduled.
- Upper Bracket Round 1: 7 June
- Upper Bracket Round 2 / Lower Bracket Round 1: 14 June
- Upper Bracket Round 3 / Lower Bracket Round 2: 20 June
- Lower Bracket Round 3: 25 June
- Lower Bracket Round 4: 28 June
- Lower Bracket Round 5: 2 July
The Upper Bracket Finals, Lower Bracket Finals, and Grand Finals will be broadcasted on 4 and 5 July. As per the official rules page, the Bracket Final Matches will start at 14:00 SAST on 4 July and operate on a rolling schedule. The Grand Finals will start at 14:00 SAST on 5 July.
