LCK 2026 Round 1 & 2 viewer’s guide

The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) is considered the biggest, most significant regional event, featuring arguably the best lineup of teams. Following the LCK Cup and First Stand, we have the LCK 2026 Round 1 & 2 action to look forward to, leading to the Road to MSI. Let’s take a look at the most important details.

Important LCK 2026 Round 1 & 2 details

The LCK 2026 Season is hosted and organized by developer Riot Games, and takes place live on LAN in South Korea. Round 1 and 2 form part of the season and lead up to the Road to MSI 2026.

To be specific, the top six teams when the dust settles over Round 1 and 2 matches will qualify for the Road to MSI 2026 event, where they’ll fight for two spots at MSI 2026, and one spot at EWC 2026. Yes, there’s a lot on the line, so you can expect Summoner’s Rift to burst with top-tier action.

A total of ten (10) teams are competing in the LCK 2026 Season Round 1 and 2. Check out the list of participants below.

  • KT Rolster
  • Gen.G Esports
  • Dplus
  • Hanwha Life Esports
  • DRX
  • SOOPers
  • FEARX
  • BRION

The format is a Double Round-Robin, where all matches are best-of-three. Six qualify for the Road to MSI, while the rest must wait for Round 3 and 4 matches to begin later this year. Round 1 and 2 runs from 1 April to 31 May 2026.
