Over the past weekend at DreamHack Birmingham, attendees (and those watching from home) got to experience some top-tier Dota 2 esports action. In case you couldn’t watch ESL One Birmingham 2026 unfold live, here’s what went down.

Tundra Esports wins ESL One Birmingham

Tundra Esports is back on top of the Dota 2 esports scene following their win at ESL One Birmingham 2026, having now won two S-Tier tournaments thus far this year.

Starting in Group A, Tundra finished second, with a 4-3-0 record, just behind Team Yandex, which posted a 5-2-0 record. When it came time for the Playoffs Stage, it was Tundra Esports who dominated the double-elimination bracket with style.

Tundra Esports first took out Aurora Gaming 2-1, and then swept Team Yandex 2-0 to make it to the Grand Final. After falling to Tundra Esports, Team Yandex took out Chinese powerhouse Xtreme Gaming with a 2-1 win for a spot in the Grand Final.

In the BO5 Grand Final, Team Yandex drew first blood. However, Tundra Esports stabilized with exceptional prowess to win the next three games in a row, ending the series 3-1 and thereby lifting the ESL One Birmingham 2026 trophy. Congratulations!
