PGL Major Singapore 2026 announced
It’s a new chapter for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), as tournament organizer PGL has announced the PGL Singapore Major 2026, the first Major Championship ever held in Southeast Asia. The histornic milestone will see 32 of the best teams in the world compete for the crowning event of 2026, and we are already getting hyped.
PGL recently took to social media to announce this incredible news and provide the first PGL Major Singapore 2026 details.
PGL Major Singapore 2026 details
First up, the event will run across four stages of competition, all taking place in Kallang, Singapore, with the Playoffs Stage set for the beautiful Singapore Indoor Stadium. You can mark your calendars for 25 November to 13 December 2026, when teams will fight for their share of the huge $1,250,000 prize pool.
The CEO of PGL, Silviu Stroie, shared in the excitement, stating that:
“Bringing the first Counter-Strike Major to Singapore is a moment that truly inspires us. This city has been home to some of our most memorable esports events, and we’ve always felt the energy and passion of the fans here. Returning now with a Counter-Strike Major feels like the natural next step. Our goal is to honor the legacy of Counter-Strike by delivering an event worthy of the community’s dedication and love for the game.“
Ms Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive (Experience Development Group), from the Singapore Tourism Board, said:
“Singapore has been host to exciting esports events such as The International, the largest DOTA 2 esports event in the world, and we look forward with much anticipation to hosting our first Counter Strike Major in 2026, which will reinforce Singapore as a world-class events destination. As one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Counter Strike scene, the event promises to attract fans from around the region, and we invite them to also enjoy Singapore’s lifestyle experiences and vibrant energy.“
