Your viewers guide to CBLOL Cup 2026

On their way to the First Stand LAN event, the Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLOL) season begins with the CBLOL Cup. While it’s not as big as the LCK or LEC, the CBLOL Cup can still deliver a ton of LoL esports action for fans to enjoy, so let’s jump in and take a look.

CBLOL Cup 2026 details

Organized by developer Riot Games, the CBLOL Cup 2026 takes place on LAN at the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo, Brazil.

The tournament runs from 17 January to 28 February 2026 and features the best eight teams from the region competing. All the teams are fighting for just one spot at First Stand 2026, the first international event of the new season.

The action begins with the Regular Season, featuring a single Round Robin format, where matches are best-of-one. The 1st and 2nd place finishes advance directly to the Playoffs Stage and receive a BYE, so they go directly to the second round. 3rd and 4th place finishers advance to the first round of the Playoffs Stage. The Play-In Stage teams are made up of the bottom four, with 5th/6th place finishers starting in the Upper Bracket of the Play-In, and the 7th/8th place finishers beginning in the Lower Bracket.

In the Play-In Stage, the format is single-elimination, best of three, with a best-of-five final. The Playoffs Stage features a double-elimination bracket, with all matches best-of-five. Champions of the CBLOL Cup 2026 earn a spot at First Stand 2026 to represent the region.
