PGL Singapore Major 2026 announced

We already know that the first Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major Championship of next year is IEM Cologne Major 2026, but what about the second one? Well, PGL has announced the Singapore Major 2026, so it’s time to mark those calendars!

PGL Singapore Major 2026 first details

For the first time ever, a CS Major Championship will be held in Southeast Asia. The Singapore CS2 Major 2026’s Playoffs Stage will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang.

The tournament is scheduled to run from 11 November to 13 December 2026. It features a huge $1,250,000 prize pool and 32 teams competing for glory at the crowning event of the year. Just like the recently-finished StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, the PGL Singapore Major 2026 will feature four stages of competition and a best-of-five Grand Final.

The CEO of PGL, Silviu Stroie, said in the announcement that:

“Bringing the first Counter-Strike Major to Singapore is a moment that truly inspires us. This city has been home to some of our most memorable esports events, and we’ve always felt the energy and passion of the fans here. Returning now with a Counter-Strike Major feels like the natural next step. Our goal is to honor the legacy of Counter-Strike by delivering an event worthy of the community’s dedication and love for the game.”

Stay tuned to Esports Central as we plan on bringing you the coverage of all CS2 Major Championships going forward, and really any big esports event, both internationally and locally!
