Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series 2025 viewer’s guide
With the impressive release of Battlefield 6 and its competitive battle-royale game mode, called REDSEC, there’s a new and exciting esports scene to follow. That’s right, publisher Electronic Arts has announced the Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series 2025 event, and we should all watch! Here’s what you need to know.
Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series details
First off, in the announcement post, EA explained a bit about Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series 2025, stating that: “Designed to introduce more competitive play to the franchise while also giving our community a new way to rise through the ranks, the Elite Series is the premiere destination of Battlefield competition, showcasing the absolute best competitive Battlefield REDSEC has to offer on the global stage through Battle Royale and Gauntlet.”

- Match Day #1 – Wednesday, December 10, 2025
- Match Day #2 – Thursday, December 11, 2025
- Match Day #3 – Tuesday, December 16, 2025
- Season Finals – Thursday, December 18, 2025
The Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series features three regions, namely: The Americas, EMEA, and APAC. There’s a whopping $1 million (roughly 17.5 million) to compete for during this first season. The inaugural REDSEC Elite Series sees 50 captains from each region get invited, who are then able to pick their dream squad of four players. There’s a total of 600 competitors!
The format is explained as: “Each region’s 50 squads will compete in a unique competitive format: A series of six REDSEC Battle Royale matches, culminating in the top eight squads fighting head-to-head in a final showdown in the cutthroat, knockout-style elimination mode known as Gauntlet. This format is repeated over three Qualifying Match Days, with squads earning Elite Series Points for their performance.”
