To kick off the new year in style, South African tournament organizer Mettlestate has another handful of leaderboard-style month-long Battlegrounds events for all local gamers to compete in, and possibly win some nice prizes. Here’s what you need to know.

First off, apologies, we missed the start of these Battlegrounds for the month of January 2026. The good news is, these are month-long events, so you can still register and potentially catch up.

The Mettlestate Battlegrounds for January 2026 are all 1v1 events, so no need to organize partners.
