It’s not just about the StarLadder Budapest Major at the end of the month for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans. No, there’s also an exciting event taking place at DreamHack Stockholm, featuring the best all-female teams. Here’s what you must know about the ESL Impact League Season 8 finals.

ESL Impact League S8 viewer’s guide

On stage at Stockholmsmässan during the DreamHack Stockholm mega-event, eight of the best all-female CS2 esports teams will compete at ESL Impact League Season 8. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 28 to 30 November, so mark those calendars!

There’s a total prize pool of $223,000 up for grabs. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R3.8 million.

Eight teams will first compete in two GSL-style groups of four teams each. The Opening and Winners’ matches are best-of-one, while Decider and Elimination matches are best-of-three. In the Playoffs Stage, the top four teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket. All matches in this stage of the competition are BO3.

  • Sakura Esports
  • FlyQuest RED
  • MIBR Female
  • Atrix Esports

These eight teams made it through their regional online events for spots at the LAN finals of ESL Impact League Season 8. Sakura Esports recently acquired the Shimmer roster, in case you didn’t know.
