Tundra beats Falcons to win BLAST Slam IV
The BLAST Slam IV tournament delivered a ton of excitement for Dota 2 esports fans watching from home, and for the crowd at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In case you couldn’t watch the action live, here’s how things went down.
BLAST Slam IV results
In the Swiss Stage, it was Tundra Esports and Team Falcons who came out on top with 9-2 scorelines, earning spots directly in the Semifinals.
Stepping into the arena of the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the Playoffs Stage, we saw teams give it their all. MOUZ managed to beat Team Spirit with a 2-1 score in the Quarterfinals, while HEROIC took down Aurora Gaming 2-0.
In the Semifinals, Tundra Esports knocked out MOUZ with a 2-1 reverse-sweep comeback, while Team Falcons smashed HEROIC 2-0.
In the best-of-five Grand Final of BLAST Slam IV, it was Team Falcons that drew first blood and pulled ahead a bit with a 2-1 lead. However, Tundra bounced back with vigor to win the last two games in a row for a 3-2 score, thereby securing the trophy.
