SNK World Championship 2025 Finals this weekend
Some of the best fighting game players are converging on DreamHack Atlanta in the United States this weekend to compete at the SNK World Championship (SWC) 2025 Finals, a massive event featuring four titles. Here’s what you need to know.
SWC 2025 Finals details
The SWC 2025 Finals will come to a thrilling conclusion this weekend, from Friday, 31 October 2025, until Sunday, 2 November 2025. This is a LAN event taking place Georgia World Congress Center, in front of a crowd at DreamHack Atlanta.
There are four fighting games on display, featuring the best players in their respective titles, and huge prize pools to compete for. The total prize pool is a massive $4.1 million across all four titles. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R70 million. Check out the breakdown of the prize pool per title below.
- Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves – $2.5 million
- The King of Fighters XV – $1 million
- Samurai Shodown (2019) – $500,000
- Art of Fighting 3 – $100,000
Due to the nature of these tournaments and last chance qualifiers at DreamHack Atlanta, a full player list is unknown at the time of writing, but we can say that top pros have already secured spots. The tournament formats are listed simply as “double-elimination.”
