Are you a fan of the Marvel Rivals hero shooter? Then you are in luck, as the 2025 esports season is finishing up with the Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025 event, and you can watch all the action live. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t miss out.
Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025 Grand Finals details
First and foremost, the Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025 Grand Finals is serious business. In fact, it’s massive, taking place during DreamHack Atlanta on LAN at the Georgia World Congress Center. There’s a huge prize pool of $1 million on the line. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R17.2 million to compete for.
Twelve of the world’s best Marvel Rivals teams are competing from 27 October until 2 November 2025. The action begins with a Group Stage, featuring two groups of six teams each. The format in this stage of competition is Single Round-Robin, where all matches are best-of-three. The top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Stage.
In the Marvel Rivals Ignite 2025 Grand Finals Playoffs Stage, the final eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket from 31 October to 2 November. Upper Bracket Finals and Upper Bracket Semifinals matches are BO3, all other matches are BO5, except for the Grand Final, which is a BO7 slugfest.
