Two qualify for VCT 2026 EMEA via regional Ascension event

Known as one of the strongest regions, the EMEA league in VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is undeniably strong. That’s why the VCT 2025 EMEA Ascension tournament was such an exciting one to watch. Here’s how things went down.

VCT 2025 EMEA Ascension results

Eight teams fought tooth and nail for just two spots at the main VCT 2026 EMEA league as partners. The VCT 2025 EMEA Ascension event took place on LAN at the Riot Games Arena venue in Berlin, Germany, where teams battled for those coveted spots and a nice 100,000 Euro prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R2 million.

In the Group Stage, the eight teams were whittled down to just four, with ULF Esports coming out on top in Group A with a 2-0 score, and DNSTY in second place with a 2-1 score, while in Group B, BBL PCIFIC topped the pack with a 2-0 score, and Mandatory had a 2-1 score.

The Playoffs Stage featured just two best-of-five matches, with the winners of each match securing spots in VCT 2026 EMEA as partner teams.

ULF Esports managed to crush Mandatory with a 3-0 score to claim a top spot, while BBL PCIFIC beat DNSTY with a 3-1 scoreline. Congratulations!
