ENVY earns VCT 2026 Americas spot at Ascension

At the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Ascension tournaments, some of the best teams in the region have been competing to earn a spot in the main league in their region. We already saw Dragon Ranger Gaming retain their spot in China, and now, the VCT Americas 2025 Ascension event has come to an end.

VCT 2025 Americas Ascension results

At the Riot Games Arena venue in São Paulo, Brazil, eight squads competed for one spot as a partner team in the VCT 2026 Americas league. There was also a $97,000 prize on the line, which is roughly R1.7 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.

In the Group Stage, four teams survived, namely Team Solid (2-0), TSM (2-0), ENVY (2-1), and Winthrop University (2-1).

When it came to the playoffs, it was ENVY who took pole position. To get to the Grand Final, ENVY first reverse-sweeped Team Solid 2-1, then pulled off another reverse-sweep 2-1 win against TSM. While TSM recovered in the Lower Bracket Final against Team Solid with a 3-0 win, they couldn’t manage to take revenge against ENVY.

In the best-of-five Grand Final of the VCT 2025 Americas Ascension event, it was ENVY who came out on top, beating TSM with a convincing 3-1.
