Eight remain at ESL Pro League S22 playoffs
It’s been a crazy ride at the ESL Pro League Season 22 tournament. With two big stages now complete, only eight Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams remain with a shot at glory, and the #1 team in the world, The MongolZ, didn’t even make it to the Playoffs Stage. Here’s what you must know about the Playoffs Stage taking place this weekend.
EPL S22 Playoffs Stage matches & schedule
At the ESL Studios venue in Stockholm, Sweden, the best eight remaining teams will compete for their share of the huge $1 million prize pool. That’s roughly R17.3 million at the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate.
The teams are competing live on LAN this weekend, from 10 to 12 October 2025, in a single-elimination Playoffs Stage bracket, where the Quarterfinals and Semifinals are BO3, and the Grand Final is BO5.
Check out the schedule with start times for all the Quarterfinals matches taking place on 10 October 2025 below. All times are in SAST.
- 3DMAX vs. Team Falcons – Starts at 10:30
- MOUZ vs. NAVI – Starts at 13:00
- Team Spirit vs. FaZe Clan – Starts at 15:30
- FURIA vs. Team Vitality – Starts at 18:00
On Saturday, 11 October 2025, we’ll see the two semifinal matches take place, and on Sunday, 12 October 2025, the third-place decider, along with the Grand Final. If you can only watch one match, let it be the BO5 Grand Final on 12 October starting at 17:00 SAST.
