At the OVO Arena Wembley venue in London, United Kingdom, six qualified Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams competed for their share of the $330,000 prize pool and the glory of lifting the BLAST Open London 2025 trophy. G2 wins BLAST Open London 2025
MOUZ got off to a strong start in the Quarterfinals, sending underdogs M80 packing with a 2-1 scoreline, before falling 0-2 to rivals, Team Vitality, in the Semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, G2 Esports took down FaZe Clan in a 2-0 affair, with overtime required on the second map to secure victory. G2 then smashed FURIA with a clean 2-0 to earn a spot in the Grand Final.

In the best-of-five BLAST Open London 2025 Grand Final, Team Vitality was the clear favorite to win, with a rebuilt G2 Esports as a big underdog. That didn’t stop G2 Esports from claiming the first map, Dust2, with a 13-3 score.
Team Vitality bounced back from the loss quickly, winning the following two maps in a row, with a 13-6 on Mirage, and a 13-6 on Overpass, putting themselves just one map away from lifting the trophy in London.
G2 Esports clawed their way back on Inferno, winning 16-12 in Overtime to force a deciding fifth map. On Train, G2 Esports pulled ahead and never looked back, beating Team Vitality 13-6, and thereby, winning the BLAST Open London 2025 tournament’s Grand Final with a 3-2 scoreline.
A big congratulations go out to G2 Esports for performing so well and slaying the giant that is Team Vitality. G2 Esports’ Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko won the MVP award, his first ever at a significant event.
