ManuBachoore wins FC Pro 25 World Championship
At the Esports World Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia, from 7 to 10 August, the best EA FC 25 players competed in the massive FC Pro 25 World Championship tournament, boasting a prize pool of $1 million (roughly R17.5 million) and representing their respective organizations in the Club Championship. Here’s how things went down.
FC Pro 25 World Championship results
A total of 32 top players across the globe started their journey at the Qiddiya Arena venue in Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia, fighting to see who could make it to the top of the food chain. After a grueling Group Stage, 16 players made it to the Playoffs, while the bottom 16 were eliminated.
In the Playoffs of the FC Pro 25 World Championship, it was the legendary Dutch player, Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore, who made waves. For those who don’t know, ManuBachoore placed 1st at the FIFAe World Cup 2023 event, becoming a world champion.
ManuBachoore managed to overcome LJR Peixoto with a 4-2, and narrowly beat Jonny with a 3-2 win. He then went on to convincingly defeat Brazilian star GuiBarros 5-1 in the Semifinals. In the Grand Finals, facing Team Vitality’s French star, Brice “Brice” Masson, ManuBachoore pulled out all the stops, beating his opponent 5-3.
A big congratulations go out to Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore for his dominant performance on the virtual pitch. He wins $250,000 for his efforts and secures 1,000 EWC 2025 Club Points for Team Liquid!
