Don’t miss Elite Gaming Fest in Bloem on 8 & 9 August
Attention all local gamers, esports enthusiasts, competitive teams, and pop culture enjoyers; just about anyone, really! There’s a huge event, called Elite Gaming Fest, taking place in Bloemfontein next weekend (8 and 9 August), featuring big esports events, a LAN, great prizes, and a host of other activities. Elite Gaming Fest details
First off, the Elite Gaming Fest is an in-person event, focusing on esports and a LAN. It takes place at the Doxa Deo Bloemfontein South venue from 8 to 9 August 2025, offering two days of non-stop action and entertainment. Check out the address below.

To attend, you must purchase a ticket, with the type depending on what you want to do. Purchase tickets via the Elite Gaming Fest page. Ticket prices range from R100 per day to R175 for a weekend pass and R250 for a LAN Pass spot, which includes access to the LAN area, including a dedicated space to bring & set up your own PC or console.
That’s a fantastic price compared to many other events of its nature. On the same page, you can register for multiple esports events with big prizes. For example, there’s a Rocket League 3v3 tournament with a first-place prize of R5,000, and a Counter-Strike 2 tournament where the winning team gets R10,000! Other esports include Fortnite, EA Sports FC, Rocket League 1v1, Street Fighter 6, Minecraft, and Warzone. Attendees can also compete in Magic The Gathering and One Piece trading card games.
