ATK hosting 1v1 Fortnite Box Fight at Loftus venue this weekend

In June, we reported on the highly anticipated opening of ATK Arena’s new venue in Loftus in Pretoria. Now, it’s time for Fortnite fans to gather, as the first 1v1 Fortnite Box Fight event is taking place this weekend, with some nice prizes up for grabs. Here’s what you need to know.

1v1 Fortnite Box Fight details

So, first and foremost, this is an in-person tournament taking place this weekend. To be specific, it takes place on Sunday, 6 July 2025, from 10:00 to 17:00. Tickets will set you back R100. You can purchase one to reserve your spot over on the event’s Quicket page right now!

Spots are limited. There will be two separate rounds, with 32 players each. Players who want to participate in both rounds must register and purchase a ticket for each one.

There’s a total of R6,000 in PUMA vouchers up for grabs, split between each round, so R3,000 per round.

Venue: ATK Arena Loftus – Loftus Versfeld Stadium, 467 Kirkness St, Arcadia, Pretoria

Players will also get R100 free game time for all signups, so that’s a bonus! The event is powered by Red Bull, PUMA, and Corsair. Both rounds of the ATK Arena 1v1 Fortnite Box Fight event feature a double-elimination bracket, where all matches, except for the Grand Final, are best-of-three. The Grand Final promises to be a best-of-five slugfest, so don’t miss out!
