At the PGL Studios venue in Bucharest, Romania, 16 of the best Dota 2 esports teams in the world competed for their share of the $1 million prize pool at PGL Wallachia Season 5. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R17.8 million.

Following a grueling group stage, the likes of Team Spirit and Gaimin Gladiators came out on top with 3-0 scores, while BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports made it through by the skin of their teeth. With eight teams remaining, we saw the double-elimination Playoffs Stage take place.
