TI 2025 SEA Closed Qualifier results & standings

The final two Closed Qualifiers for The International 2025 didn’t disappoint Dota 2 esports fans, with some of the best teams from Western Europe and Southeast Asia competing. This article focuses on the results of the latter, so let’s take a look, shall we?

TI 2025 SEA Winners

In the Upper Bracket of the SEA Closed Qualifier, it was Team Nemesis who impressed the most. Led by James “Erice” Guerra, Team Nemesis first beat Tech Free Gaming 2-0, then shocked onlookers by beating BOOM Esports 2-1 in the Quarterfinals. Team Nemesis wasn’t done impressing, as they smashed Execration 2-0 before beating Talon Esports 2-1 in the Upper Bracket final to claim a spot at the main event of The International 2025.

After getting knocked down to the Lower Bracket of the TI 2025 SEA Closed Qualifier early, BOOM Esports recovered and made a magnificent run. First, they beat Castawake with a 2-1 reverse sweep, then Ivory with a clean 2-0. BOOM Esports then managed to narrowly beat Execration 2-1, and then Talon Esports 2-1 to claim the second spot at The International 2025.

A big congratulations go out to both Nemesis and BOOM Esports for making their way through this grueling qualifier.
