Mettlestate Battlegrounds for June 2025
For the month of June 2025, South African tournament organizer Mettlestate has some more month-long leaderboard-style events, called Battlegrounds, for local gamers to enjoy, warming our icy hearts in the winter season. Let’s waste no time and dive in!
June 2025 Battlegrounds from Mettlestate
By my count, there are seven (7) Battlegrounds for local gamers to compete in this week, so that’s a nice little increase. We can also see new titles on display, including Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6, which should be good news for the fighting game community.
You can enter these events for free, and they run until 30 June 2025. These are all 1v1 events, so you don’t need a partner to get started. Check out the seven Mettlestate Battlegrounds events below.

All Battlegrounds listed above are free to enter and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on the Premium (VIP) status of players that make it to the money.
