Let’s dive in and look at the most important details for this event.
DreamLeague Season 26 details
DreamLeague Season 26 is an online tournament boasting a huge prize pool of $1 million. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R18.3 million. Teams are competing on the Europe West servers from 19 May to 1 June 2025.
The tournament features three stages of competition, which we’ve outlined below for your convenience:
- Group Stage 1 (19 to 22 May): Sixteen teams are split into two groups of eight. Teams compete in a single round-robin format with best-of-two matches. The top four teams from each group advance to the next stage, while the bottom four are eliminated.
- Group Stage 2 (24 to 28 May): The remaining eight teams are placed into a single round-robin group. All matches are best-of-three. The top two teams secure spots in the upper bracket of the Playoffs, the 3rd and 4th place teams proceed to the lower bracket, and the remaining teams are eliminated.
- Playoffs (May 30 to June 1): A double-elimination bracket featuring the top four teams from Group Stage 2. Matches are best-of-three, leading up to the Grand Final. The Grand Final will be a best-of-five series to crown the champion.
