Mettlestate Cash Cups this week | 7 to 13 April 2025
South African tournament organizer Mettlestate has another round of weekly Cash Cups for local gamers to compete in this week, with a chance of winning some nice cash prizes. These one-day events have been entertaining local gamers for as long as I can remember, so let’s just cut to the chase and take a look at the most important details.
Cash Cups from Mettlestate this week
By our count, five new Cash Cups will be held for local gamers to compete in during the week of 7 to 13 April 2025. These tournaments take place on the regular active days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday) and are powered by sponsors PC Builder and ASUS South Africa.

- Fortnite Cup – Duos battle royale tournament starting on Monday, 7 April 2025, at 19:30.
- TeamFight Tactics Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, at 19:30.
- Clash of Clans Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 9 April 2025, at 19:30.
- EA FC Mobile Cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Thursday, 10 April 2025, at 19:30.
- Garena Free Fire Cup – Solos battle royale tournament starting on Saturday, 12 April 2025, at 14:00.
As always, registration for these Cash Cups closes about two hours before the events begin, with check-in during the hour before. All tournaments above are free to enter and feature a base prize pool of R1,000, which increases to R2,000 depending on the Premium (VIP) status of participants.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place: R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place: R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place: R200 (R400 with VIP)
