The top team from each group picks their next opponent from either the 3rd or 4th-placed teams in the opposite group (A vs. B and C vs. D) for the playoffs seeding matches. Then, from 6 to 7 September 2024, the seeding decider matches take place, where the 16 teams compete in head-to-head BO3 matches to determine the seeding for The International 2024’s main event.

The main event (first portion of the playoffs) of The International 2024 takes place from 8 to 10 September 2024, and the Finals will take place from 13 to 15 September 2024. We will see eight teams start in the Upper Bracket and eight in the Lower Bracket, based on their performance in the Group Stage. All matches in the Playoffs Stage are BO3, except the Grand Final, which is BO5.

The winner on 15 September will walk away with the lion’s share of the massive prize pool, and lift the Aegis of Champions. You can watch all the Dota 2 esports action from The International 2024 on the official Dota2Ti Twitch channel. Alternatively, tune in to the main Dota 2 YouTube channel.
