EWC 2024 CS2 event viewer’s guide
From the Esports World Cup Foundation and ESL comes the Esports World Cup 2024 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event, where 15 teams will compete for a huge prize pool as part of the EWC 2024 mega event. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t miss out.
EWC 2024 CS2 details
Taking place in Saudi Arabia at Riyadh Boulevard City 5v5 Arena, the Esports World Cup 2024 CS2 event features some of the best teams in the world competing for their share of the massive $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R18 million.
The event runs from this Wednesday, 17 July 2024, and finishes up on 21 July 2024, when a champion will be crowned. It all starts with an Opening Stage, where teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket, where all matches are best-of-three. The winners of each match advance to the Play-In stage, where all matches are best-of-one. The winners of the Play-In stage matches will advance to the Playoffs single-elimination bracket, where all matches are best-of-three.
