The International 2024 direct invite teams revealed
Attention, Dota 2 esports fans! This is a big one! Following their performances in multiple events thus far, Valve has announced the teams who are directly invited to compete in The International 2024. Here’s what you need to know.
TI2024 teams directly invited
Following the massive 7.36 update and Act II of Crownfall, with all those powerful innate abilities, Valve has also revealed the six teams they’ve decided to invite to The International 2024. Valve first explained that:
“From Dubai to Birmingham to Bucharest and beyond, the year has been packed with top-tier Dota tournaments. Befitting their dominant performances across the year so far, we’re happy to invite the following teams directly to The International 2024.”

There are 10 spots left at The International 2024. The best teams who didn’t make the cut, alongside top open qualifier teams, will compete in their respective regional qualifiers this month. Check out the schedule below.
- China and North America – June 9th to 13th
- Eastern Europe + South America – June 14th to 18th
- Southeast Asia + Western Europe – June 19th to 23rd
