VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff viewer’s guide
Attention, Valorant esports fans… the excitement is just around the corner! The 2024 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) is kicking off in earnest this month, with four Kickoff tournaments leading up to Masters Madrid. Here’s what you need to know about the VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff event!
VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff details
VCT 2024 Americas is one of the first S-Tier Valorant events of the year, taking place in Los Angeles at the Riot Games Arena. The event runs from 16 February to 3 March 2024. It starts with a Group Stage (double-elimination GSL-style groups format), then a Play-In stage, and finally, a single-elimination bracket playoffs, where semifinals are best-of-three and the grand final is best-of-five.
A total of 11 teams will compete for only two spots in the upcoming Masters Madrid event which takes place in March 2024. The winner will also get three (3) VCT Americas points, a huge step in an attempt to qualify for the end-of-year championship.
