MTN SHIFT event at Table Bay this weekend

The ultimate gaming showdown across malls in South Africa is well underway. This weekend, the MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience 2026, thanks to MTN, South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), and a host of sponsors, is heading to the Table Bay Mall in Cape Town. Here’s what potential attendees must know.

MTN SHIFT Table Bay Mall Details

This weekend, from 10 to 12 July, you can head on over to the Table Bay Mall and enjoy all the local gaming activities. There are no strings attached, as it’s completely free to enter and enjoy!

As with all these in-person MTN SHIFT events, the main tournament is the qualifier for the EA FC 26 National Football Tournament. The following prizes are up for grabs:

• 1st – R2,500 gift card
• 2nd – R1,500 gift card
• 3rd – R1,000 gift card

The winner also gets to compete in the National Final at Canal Walk on 30 August 2026, where a huge R50,000 prize pool is on the line.
