Mini-Mythic Royale Fortnite announced by ACGL

While South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL) announced the second Mythic Royale series for Apex Legends recently, that doesn’t mean they forgot about Fortnite. In partnership with MSI, Antec, Redragon, and Crucial, ACGL has announced the Mini-Mythic Royale for Fortnite, which isn’t as “mini” as the name suggests. Here’s what you need to know.

Mini-Mythic Royale Fortnite details

First and foremost, the Mini-Mythic Royale for Fortnite is entirely free to enter. There will be two qualifiers leading up to the finals in September. Despite the free entry, a base prize pool of R6,000 is on the line.

This is a Fortnite Duos tournament. Check out the important dates below, and please note that on the day, matches begin at 14:00 SAST.

As with the Apex Legends Mythic Royale, the Mini-Mythic Royale for Fortnite also features some community goals. This offers an additional R3,000 to the baseline R6,000 prize pool if these goals are met. Check them out below.

  • Participation: 40 Teams per qualifier 0/2 | R1,000
  • Viewership: Hit 100 viewers on Finals 0/100 | R1,000
  • Contribute: Place 5,000 Embers into the Ember Pot | R1,000
Prize Pool Distribution:
  • 1st Place: R3,000 + R500 per goal
  • 2nd Place: R1,500 +R250 per goal
  • 3rd Place: R900 + R150 per goal
  • 4th Place: R600 + R100 per goal
