South African qualifier for BCX 2026 details
Calling all Brawlhalla fans, fighting game enthusiasts, or just esports fans in generally to be honest! I’m excited to report on the South African qualifier that leads one player to the Brawlhalla World Championships Expo, aka BCX 2026. Here’s what you must know.
ZA BCX 2026 qualifier details
First and foremost, the BCX 2026 event is a huge international tournament taking place in the United States at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The tournament is scheduled for 13 to 15 November 2026, and local gamers can fight for one spot.
This is for the 1v1 event. There’s a huge prize pool of $200,000 up for grabs in the main tournament taking place in Atlanta. To get there, however, you’ll have to be the best local Brawlhalla player!
Simply head on over to South African tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL)’s page for the event to register for one of the online qualifiers that lead to the in-person Playoffs, where one gamer will emerge victorious.
Registration is completely free. Check out the qualifier schedule and important dates outlined below.
- Online Qualifier #1 – 15 August 2026. Double elimination. The top two go straight to the Playoffs.
- Online Qualifier #2 – 22 August 2026. Double elimination. The top two go straight to the Playoffs.
- Last Chance Qualifier – 29 August 2026. During the MTN SHIFT event at Canal Walk Mall in Cape Town. Played on site. GSL groups into a single-elimination play-in. Four more Playoff spots.
- Playoffs – 29 August 2026 at Canal Walk Mall in Cape Town. Eight qualified players, double elimination, live on site. One winner.
