Watch Sinister5’s Dota 2 squad compete in the Vrkolak Challenger League playoffs
In case you didn’t know, the South African Sinister5 Dota 2 team moved to Europe to compete in international tournaments early in March. Since then, the team has been competing in their first European tournament, the Vrkolak Challenger League. Now, the league is entering the playoff stages and the Sinister5 Dota 2 squad has qualified.
Vrkolak Challenger League
This online Bulgarian league, with a prize pool of 2000 BGN (over R20,000), is entering its playoff stage this weekend. The South African team managed an amazing 8-1 record in the group stage, ending third and thereby securing their spot in the playoffs.
After an impressive group stage performance, Sinister5’s Dota 2 team will now compete in the playoffs from 18 to 19 April 2020. South African esports fans can show their support by watching Sinister5 compete on the international stage.
Their first matchup, against eNimals, takes place on 18 April 2020 at 16:00 SAST, and you can watch it live on the Team Vrkolak Twitch.tv channel.

- Winner’s bracket round 1 – lil pleb нету игрок versus No Racism – 18 April at 14:00 SAST
- Winner’s bracket round 1 – Sinister5 versus eNimals – 18 April at 16:00 SAST
- Winner’s bracket final – 18 April at 18:00 SAST
- Lower bracket round 1 – 19 April at 13:00 SAST
- Lower bracket final – 19 April at 15:00 SAST
- Grand Final – 19 April at 17:00 SAST
All matches are best-of-three, except for the Grand Final, which is best-of-five.
