The International 2022 North America qualifier viewer’s guide

Following the PGL Arlington Major, the 12  Dota 2 esports teams who have directly qualified through DPC points for The International 2022 was confirmed. There are, however, a total of 20 spots at The International 2022. This is where the regional qualifiers and Last Chance qualifiers come into play. Here’s what you need to know about the North American regional qualifier for The International 2022.

TI 2022 NA qualifier details

The TI 2022 North America regional qualifier is an online event for DPC teams who didn’t manage to qualify directly via the season. It runs from 8 to 12 September 2022, with 12 teams competing for one spot at The International 2022.

The 2nd and 3rd-placed teams will make their way into Last Chance qualifier, and the rest will miss out on The International 2022.

The team seedings are based on their DPC point total, followed by their standing in their respective regional league, in this case, NA. The tournament features a double-elimination bracket with all matches being best-of-three, with the exception of the grand final, which is best-of-five.

  • Wildcard Gaming
  • The Cut
  • Alpha
  • 5RATFORCESTAFF

  • Team DogChamp
  • KBU.US
  • Eternity
  • Arkosh Gaming
  • CDUB Esports

There’s a lot on the line for these teams. With only one spot at The International 2022 up for grabs, we will undoubtedly see some fantastic matches. We assume you can watch these qualifiers via the official Dota 2 Twitch channel. No exact streaming info has been revealed, but you should be able to also watch them via the Dota 2 client. PGL is hosting the tournament.
