The International 2022 Battle Pass releases this week

Are your wallets ready, Dota 2 esports fans? The Battle Pass for The International 2022 is coming this week, as Valve sneaked the announcement into the massive 7.32 gameplay update patch notes. Here’s what we know so far.

The International 2022 BP release date

While we don’t know the exact time just yet, we know that The International 2022’s Battle Pass will release on Thursday, 1 September. We expect a tonne of cosmetics and activities sprinkled into the mix, alongside the likes of the Cavern Crawl feature.

As always, a portion of The International 2022’s Battle Pass proceeds will go into the tournament’s prize pool. We can’t help but wonder how big it will grow this time around.

Remember, True Sight: The International 2021 premiere date is 24th September, so its going to be an awesome month for Dota 2 players.

In case you missed it, the huge gameplay update dropped last week.  Valve gives a quick overview of what the massive Dota 2 gameplay update (7.32) entails: “Today’s patch unveils the 7.32 gameplay update, including economy changes, map tweaks, new and reworked hero abilities, updated talents, shards, scepters and neutral items as we head into The International Regional Qualifiers, which will run from September 3rd until September 18th.”

Yes, BKB did get nerfed again as it now requires mana to use, and there are so many balance changes that we can’t wait for the Regional Qualifiers to begin and see how the meta will shift.

Competitive players who want to know about every little change in Dota 2 can read the massive patch notes on the official Dota 2 website.
