The Dota 2 Collector’s Aegis of Champions arrives in South Africa
On 25 August 2019, Dota 2 pro team OG made esports history, becoming the first-ever two-time The International champions. To make the feat even more impressive, they did it back-to-back. The annual The International is the esports tournament with by far the biggest prize pool each year. To win two in a row is incredibly unlikely. Now, a small piece of that historic esports moment has arrived in South Africa in the form of the Collector’s Aegis of Champions.
Collector’s Aegis of Champions details
The Collector’s Aegis of Champions is no doubt the perfect commemoration of The International 2019 and the historic moment when Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and his teammates lifted the Aegis of Champions. If you managed to meet the requirements during the Battle Pass season, one of the Collector’s Aegis of Champions will soon be in your hands.
Those who made their way to Battle Pass level 1000 and registered for delivery before the cut-off date last year, will receive the 2019 Collector’s Aegis of Champions, a 1/5th-scale alloy replica of the famed prize. At level 2000, you get the Baby Roshan statue.
We can confirm that the Collector’s Aegis of Champions has arrived in South Africa. The Baby Roshan statue is yet to be confirmed. Our tracking number from CMD Collectibles confirms that the item has cleared customs in South Africa. It has already been processed through the facility and is now at Priority Parcels Service at the South African post office. In short, you won’t have to wait too long for your package.
Every year there is a colour theme on the beautiful collector’s items. The 2019 piece is sure to have a purple colour to it. The Collector’s Aegis of Champions always comes in a great display casing which is pretty sturdy. It is, without a doubt, the perfect collector’s item for a Dota 2 esports fan to have on their desk.
From past experience, those who are eligible for one of these items should receive a notification from the post office in the mail in the next two weeks. Keep in mind that there have been delays in the past. Lastly, don’t forget to take some money with you. Based on past experience, the post office charges you between R20 and 50 to claim it.
