Mettlestate Cash Cups this week | 17 to 23 October 2022
Despite the massive Intel Africa Masters’ Closed Qualifiers going on, South African tournament organizer Mettlestate still has time to bring local gamers some fresh new Cash Cups this week. Here’s what you need to know, so you don’t miss out on any of these local esports events.
Mettlestate Cash Cups this week
There are a total of four Cash Cups from Mettlestate taking place this week, from 17 to 23 October 2022. The information below was sourced via the Mettlestate event page. Check out all the essential details for this week’s cash cups below. Times are South African Standard Time (SAST).
- League of Legends cup – 1v1 LoLa tournament starting on Monday, 17 October at 19:30.
- Clash Royale cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Tuesday, 18 October at 19:30.
- FIFA 22 cup – 1v1 tournament starting on Wednesday, 19 October at 19:30.
- Fortnite cup – Solos battle royale tournament starting on Thursday, 20 October at 19:30.
All the tournaments are free to enter but feature a base prize pool of R1,000. That increases to R2,000 depending on the top three players’ VIP status. Check out the prize pool distribution below and remember, check-ins open 1 hour before the tournaments get underway, so set those alarms.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – R500 (R1,000 with VIP)
- 2nd place – R300 (R600 with VIP)
- 3rd place – R200 (R400 with VIP)
