Four more teams qualify for The International 2022

With only the Western Europe and SEA regional qualifiers for The International 2022 left to go, four more Dota 2 esports teams have qualified for this massive annual event. Here’s who won four of the six regional qualifiers and earned a place at The International 2022.

North America, South America, Eastern Europe and China have completed their regional qualifiers. To say it was a bloodbath would be an understatement.

With only one spot at The International 2022 on the line per regional qualifier and the 2nd and 3rd-placed teams making it to the Last Chance Qualifier, there was much to fight for. With roughly 12 teams per regional qualifier and 9 per region missing out on The International 2022, we saw some upsets.

In the Eastern Europe qualifiers, BetBoom Team beat out the likes of Na’Vi and Outsiders (Virtus.pro) to claim a spot at The International 2022. Moving to the South American qualifier, Hokori was victorious following a significant lower-bracket run, beating Infamous 3-0 in the grand final.

In the China qualifiers, it was an absolute bloodbath, with Royal Never Give Up coming out on top, leaving the likes of Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming and EHOME in the rearview mirror. Yes, Invictus Gaming and EHOME will actually not be attending The International 2022, as they didn’t make it to the top three.

Lastly, in the North America qualifier, we saw “nouns” barrel through the upper-bracket grand final. However, in the grand final, Soniqs surprised fans by sweeping nouns 3-0 to claim their spot at The International 2022. A big congratulations go out to all the teams who qualified.
