DPC 2021 Season 1 Europe results
Throughout the season, eight of the top teams in Europe have been competing in the DPC 2021 Season 1 Upper Division. With only four spots at the Dota 2 Singapore Major available, there was a lot for these pro teams to fight for.
Team Secret was the first to qualify for the Singapore Major and didn’t drop one match in the process. However, other teams struggled, including the two-time TI-winning organization, OG.
In the three-way tiebreaker to determine the final spot at the Singapore Major’s Wild Card event, Team Liquid, OG and Tundra Esports gave their all. In the end, Team Liquid walked away as the victor, leaving both OG and Tundra Esports out of the Singapore Major. These two teams will participate in the DPC 2021 Season 2 Europe Upper Division.

- 1st place: Team Secret – Qualifies for Major playoffs and wins $30,000 + 500 DPC points

- 8th place: High Coast Esports – Relegated to Lower Division for Season 2 and wins $22,000
It is a bit of a surprise to see OG fail to qualify for the first Major of the DPC in 2021, and Vikin.gg being relegated was also quite unexpected. The Singapore Major will start on 27 March 2021 featuring teams from all regions, so there’s a lot of exciting Dota 2 esports action to look forward to, especially with the return of LAN events.
