Riyadh Masters 2023 details

Dota 2 esports fans can tune in to watch the Riyadh Masters 2023 event hosted by the Saudi Esports Federation. This is a LAN event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It features an absolutely gigantic prize pool of $15 million At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R280 million!

The Riyadh Masters 2023 tournament runs from 17 to 30 July 2023. It features three stages of competition: the Play-In, Group Stage, and Playoffs Stage. The Dota 2 esports action will start with the Play-In stage, where two groups of six teams each compete in a single round-robin format, with the three teams advancing to the Group Stage to join the Group Stage seeds.

In the Group Stage, there’s a single round-robin format, with the top four teams of each group advancing to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The 5th and 6th placed teams from each group advance to the lower bracket, while the rest are eliminated. For the playoffs, there’s a standard double-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three, except for the grand final, which is best-of-five.
